The water wheel transplanter works like this. There’s a big yellow tank filled with water. As the tractor drives forward, the water flows into the turning wheels. As the wheels rotate, they puncture the row with spikes to create a hole the same size as the transplant. There are 4 jobs and each member of the family pitches in to help. We trade jobs every few rows to help keep everyone fresh.
