Quick Farm Update: There have been A LOT of folks picking this weekend - thank you! There aren't hardly any ripe berries left in the patch. However, we have plenty of basil, zucchini & yellow squash to pick + a clearance sale in the greenhouse! We'll be OPEN Monday, Memorial Day, 8AM - 6PM. Here's the pickin' forecast: strawberries = very slim pickins. Basil, zucchini, & yellow squash = plentiful!
Ever tried zucchini & yellow squash in the air fryer? It's amazing! Random fact: You can check out this air fryer from our library in town. Shout out to the Blackwater Regional Library - love their "Library of Things." I wanted to try out an air fryer before I made the commitment (of my counter space). I'm sold. I tossed these zucchini & yellow squash with olive oil, salt, & pepper - YUM!
We're at 14489 Bethel Church Lane, Smithfield, VA 23430. Strawberries are $10/basket, cash or check, on the honor system. We provide the baskets. Zucchini & yellow squash are 50 cents each.
