Our farm is open on Sunday, but if you are primarily looking to pick strawberries, you should wait for a different day. The berries were heavily picked today and not currently plentiful at all. However, if you're looking to pick cut flowers, onions, or green tomatoes, it's a great day to visit our farm! 😁
Some of our summer produce is starting to come in. In the past week or so, we've harvested a couple hundred cucumbers, and more will be ripening in the coming days and weeks. They're growing in two locations: in the back half of the smaller greenhouse and just beyond the far back corner of the strawberry patch, to the left. These are pick your own, or often we have some available at the cashier's tent for sale, same price either way, 75 cents each. Fresh & tasty!
U-Pick Availability for Sunday:
Extremely Plentiful: Cut Flowers (lots of Zinnias), Sunflowers (SALE: 50 cents ea), Onions, Green Tomatoes
Significantly Less Plentiful (after a heavy day of picking on Saturday): Cucumbers, Strawberries, Zucchini, and Yellow Squash
Thanks for pickin' us! 😊
