Plastic & Drip Irrigation = Few Weeds & Productive Plants
Most people lay this plastic down with a tractor, but the old fashion way works just fine too. First, put down compost, fertilizer, and/or lime...till that in. Then, run your drip irrigation, cut it & hook it in. Then, roll out the plastic. Dig a trench, bury the edges of the plastic...and repeat for 9 rows of 150 feet. Each row takes a minimum of 2 hours, 2 people...good times ;)
Recognize that flower?? It's a carnation, getting ready to burst into bloom :)
