*Heads up, due to the predicted storms that'll be rolling in Saturday afternoon, we'll be closing up shop at Noon, Saturday, Sept. 27.

PS - Saturday morning, we'll be planting next year's strawberries in the fields behind our pumpkin patch. We planted the first 12,000 today, my favorite - Sweet Charlie's! 🍓We hope to plant the next 6,000 tomorrow morning. It's an exciting time of year at our farm! 😊

It was wonderful to connect with so many of you this weekend! One family visited today who has been supporting our little family farm since the beginning, over 13 years ago. Back then, we were growing just a tenth of an acre and I was pregnant with our oldest. At the time, her daughter was a teenager, and today she brought her daughter and her granddaughter to come pick pumpkins - so cool to see everyone growing. Many thanks for all the support from all of you for so many years!! 😊

Today we're featuring our decorative specialty stackable pumpkins. We have 5 different varieties that range in color from red-orange, white, blue-tinted, and one that starts out green and turns orange. We even have one called "Porcelain Doll" with a pink-tint that has proven to be a fan favorite amongst several adorable little girls who have come to our pumpkin patch. Mix & match any of these stackable decorative pumpkins, 3 for $30. Choose from our selection of pre-picked pumpkins near the cashier's tent or select your perfect combination from the field, clippers & wagons provided.

Round out your fall display with mums that pop with color against a backdrop of hay bales and corn stalk bundles. Add a sprinkle of little gourds and you've got it!

Fall is a great time to grow your own food. Not only do these crops grow well in traditional raised beds, but they also thrive in patio container gardens too! But our favorite spot to plant food crops is in our flower beds near our house. It's so convenient to grab what you need at mealtime and it doesn't get any fresher than that! We have several different types of lettuces. We also have kale, spinach, pac choi, broccoli, cauliflower, collards, and cabbage. $3.50 per 4 pack or fill a flat for $29. There are 12 total 4 packs in a flat.

Ever tried baked kale chips? I've had it before with oil & salt, but I just saw a recipe for to toss the kale in coconut oil & soy sauce. Bake at 300 for 20 mins. Looking forward to trying this recipe in a few weeks!

Heads up, it looks like a storm will be rolling in on Tuesday, so we'll be closed on Tuesday & Wednesday September 16th & 17th.

It was SO great to see so many of you for opening day! We loved reconnecting with familiar faces from strawberry season and meetings lots of new ones too. The weather is absolutely perfect this weekend, some might even say gourdgeous!

Come see our wide variety of pumpkins & gourds on Sunday! We have some of all of them currently pre-picked, or you're welcome to pick your own from our pumpkin patch (planted in the same spot as our strawberries were grown this spring). Clippers & wagons provided.
