Our greenhouse is popping right now - 16 different varieties of herbs, 33 varieties of vegetables & melons, over 20 varieties of annual flowers and 13 different perennials!

Saturday's weather is looking awesome! Sunday, not-so-much, so come on out Saturday. Our sandy soil tends to drain fairly quickly, but I'd still recommend you wear some old shoes or boots.

Strawberries: There tend to be more berries towards the back half of the patch. Also, some rows have lots of ripe berries hidden under the green leaves.

Lettuce: Folks have picked the first part of row 52; some of the best looking heads are on down the row a bit.

Greenhouse: perennial & annual flowers, herbs & vegetable transplants available.

Re: Sunday's hours - We'll have to wait & evaluate the patch after Saturday's picking & the rain that we're supposed to get in the afternoon to see if/when we'll be open on Sunday. I'll definitely post updates here on Facebook & Instagram

There are a few times per season where the strawberry patch is particularly plentiful. Right now is one of those times and it's a lot of fun to pick when the ripe berries are everywhere. A lot of heads of lettuce have been harvested (and lettuce season is much shorter than berry season), so come on out & grab you a head or two. I was at a meeting for work tonight and I came home to this salad that my kiddos made 😊

The strawberry patch is loaded with red, juicy berries! If you've been waiting for the right time to come pick berries, now's a GREAT time! These sweet berries practically jump off the vine into your baskets. The pickin' really doesn't get much easier than this.
