We're OPEN Wednesday, May 7th, 9AM - 5PM! The patch is full of ripe, sweet strawberries. I picked this basket in less than 10 minutes this evening. The rain is behind us; the patch is dry, and the weather looks beautiful for the next several days!
The greenhouse has a wonderful selection of flowers, vegetables, and herbs - perfect for Mother's Day.
My current top picks are shown here:Vinca: best curb appeal, even during the hottest, driest part of the summer
Snapdragon: it's gorgeous (have you seen the ones by Pizza Hut in Smithfield?!)
Marigolds: best companion plant - they deter pests and attract beneficial insects
Zinnia: particularly prolific flower that stays in bloom all season long
Tomatoes: few things are better than a summertime BLT with homegrown tomatoes
Peppers: paired with those tomatoes makes an incredible salsa!
