U-pick: strawberries, sunflowers, cut flowers, zucchini, yellow squash, onions, green tomatoes, and cucumbers.
How long will the berries last? Good question. For the past 4 years, we've had strawberries through the second week of June. We anticipate the same will hold true for this year. Although it takes a bit longer to fill your basket and the berries are smaller this time of the season, the flavor is good. The patch is currently producing about 50-100 baskets per day, which is about 15-20% of the average the patch produced in late April. The pickin' isn't near as good as it was, but there are still hundreds of pounds of fresh fruit available daily coming from 30,000+ plants.
